phpld URL Rewrite Problem

    Hello,
    I just started two directories using phpld, i have enabled the URL rewriting functionality.
    But when i try to add my site in Google Web Master tools and try to verify it by uploading an html file provided by google, it shows an error that your header returns 404 something like that..

    How to resolve this problem? I have verify my site with meta tag verification,,, what method is good, by file uploading or by meta verification?

    Why not try meta verification?
    Personally,I prefer meta verification !

    Ensure you have uploaded the html in correct place (public_html)

    In phpld, set :
    force all valid 200 > yes
    force all invalid 200 > no
