phpld templates for newbies or not?

Hi, Newbie trying to start a directory. I build my website but I do "drag n drop" with no knowledge in php, mysql, ftp etc.

    I chose a template by http://www.futuristicartists.com/phpld_templates/

I uploaded version phpld 3.1 to my file manager public_html with my host vodahost.

    Now I am stuck!

I don't know what to do/click on to get it to work and for me to start working with it to build/manage the directory.

I really need step by step instructions. Even though it could be a 2 min. thing to start I just don't know what to do.

Can anyone help? I'll pay $10 if you can get it up and running for me to start working it even if it takes 5 min.

    Thanks!
