phpld Sorting Option - by Date

A simple modification to allow sorting listings by date:

phpld- sort by date

I just did that, I edited the blog post to allow setting the sorting option from the admin panel.

@MeetHere, the change in index.php is not needed for versions 3.06, 3.1, 3.2
I am not sure about earlier versions.

 

Hope its not to much to ask, can we get a tweaked files ready to upload for the mods u have

I will do that, which will be especally useful for fresh installs. All you have to do is overwrite 2 or 3 files and install the script. Is that what you mean?

 

Not just freash installs, but also incase u have a ready file which one can just replace and have the mod working (no searching and editing the code).. sounds cool to me but can be tedious for you

usually this involves editing template files so you cannot use 1 file for all templates. Also it is not practical if you have other mods installed, you might overwrite the previous changes. phpld is not wordpress or vbulletin, you know
