PHPLD question - paid version

I am looking to buy the paid script of phplinkdirectory..
Some simple questions -

1 - If I buy current version - will I get free future updates/upgrades ?
2 - How easy is to upgrade from my current free version ?
3 - On how many domains can I use this license ?

What is the use of 'Rebuild Category Cache'? Clicking on it doesn't make any change.

 

I have no clear idea what it is But I know you have to do it for showing your link listing category for deatils pages.

One thing I have noticed it fixes, is sometimes on the details page the category where link was submitted will be gone, cant see it, so if you do the Rebuild Category Cache they will reappear.

 

Yeah....When you see the category row on details page is empty,you need to use it.

 

When doing update, make sure you mysql database allows long text or you will fail to upgrade to v3.

Yeah, and when you change the description or keywords of the category, it would help you build the new description and keywords
