i dont know how to solve this problem so i posted this thead.

I moved my hosting and installed a fresh phpld on the new hosing and used the old database. I installed it and everyting is fine except there are no category pages. i logged in to the admin panel and there it shows all the categories and even the directory but when i click on the category links, its showing 404 page.

this is my directory . www.l1nk.net

what should i do to fix this without creating a new database and entering all the categories all over again. could someone help me??

    TIA. :D

Try reuploading your .htaccess file. And also be sure that your hosting allows .htaccess file.

You could copy the old .htaccess into the new directory.

GD is required by host to show Captcha images.

Also check if you have set "captcha on" in admin settings ?
