I find submitting to phpLD (phplinkdirectory.com) is easy and seems good but I am not sure of their contribution in SEO ranking. Are these PHPLD really helpful to boost website ranking in SEPRs as all directories seems to have same class C and when a site is down, all directories powered by phpLD goes down. I submit nearly 50-70 links to directories powered by phpLD but are they really helpful from SEO point. Most of the SEO companies offer directory submission services on regular basis, these directories are initially of zero PR but gradually they gain ranking, many directories domains are sold after quality time. What kind of directories is best for deep linking for improving website's visibility online. Thanks!!!
Look! Google never gives PR in base with directory script. It's never mind which script is using for creating a directory. Most important things is how the directory is maintaining by the Admin and what kind of links he/she have into it. phpLD is just a directory script provider and nothing more than it. When a directory is running on root domain then phpLD should not be any issue. Yeah, thats also right that lots of websites are offering free directory through sub-domain and which could be against of SERP. If you've submitted your site in right directory then you definitely will be a good and useful site for Big G!
well answered, the script doesn't matter, what matters is the quality of the directory, If you are submitting to directories, there are lots of directories out there that approves anything that is called links, you need to submit to directories that are properly edited by the admins - submit to quality directories and you will be fine
