phpLD PageRank Updater Application

The only connections this applcation uses is port 3306 to access the MySQL server, and port 80 to access google.com to get the PageRank updates. It accesses no other internet IP addresses.

No information is kept except the MySQL connection information which is stored in a INI file in the same folder as the EXE - This is so you don't have to manually ever in your details everytime you want to run the application.

1. just give everyone a link to the source code so they can compile it on their own if they want to.
2. i dont need it as i wrote my own updater many months ago.
3. im sure irka will appreciate that.

Hi,

I am going to add the following new features to prupdater:

1. Validate and manage links from your desktop.
2. Validate and manage reciprocal links from your desktop.
3. Manage the ban list.
4. List all links from a persons name or email address.
5. Pause any task.
6. Schedule any task.

• +ADD: Scheduler: Schedule the update to take place every 30 minutes to 12 hours.
• +ADD: Update Active, Pending and/or Inactive links: Ability to select which type of link to update.
• +ADD: Change Google DC: Change which DC to use for PageRank requests.
• +ADD: Delay between updates: Select the amount of time to wait between link PR updates. From 100ms to 10s.

• +CHG: Code tidyup and code compression to reduce file size.

I found this free application a great help for me on servers where google does not allow pagerank checks, and I have already used it to update a couple of my sites. Thank you very much for sharing this and I look forward to your next update.

This is great. This is something I personally look forward to using.

I am intrigued with these tools though - I guess it uses the Google API?
