Is it possible to import categories from DMOZ for example using PHPLD say if I wanted to copy there listing or maybe start a foreign language directory, and could import the DMOZ listings into PHPLD, is this possible?

The Quick Subcategory Adder mod would speed up this task considerably.

i have seen huge databases though i dont think you need one lol its a waste because unless you start getting 10k submissions a day there is no point in having that many categories. If you are still looking and if you are using phpld check there forums I saw some databases

Doing a massive DMOZ import is probably not a good idea, because then your structure looks too much like DMOZ and may get flagged for duplicate content. I can't emphasize enough how having a unique category structure is important, and this one of the reasons phpLD to this day does not offer an official category structure pre-loaded with the software.

Actually I was thinking more for like foreign directories, and importing those DB, instead of having someone manually translate from the current English ones.
