I was talking about the issue itself being resolved, not your site specifically. Sorry for the confusion, but I thought your question related to the behavior of the mod, not your site.

We had a lot of happy users of this mod. I am aware that you especially had problems, that were not easily solvable. If you have a backup, I'm still happy to help you get your problem solved. It's no fun learning the hard way the importance of making backups before making big changes.

If you require more help, please address it in the phpLD supporters forum, since this thread is not a support thread. We will be happy to help if there is a way that we are able to help you.

Great, let us know if you need help.

    3.2 feedback.

I have downloaded the new version 3.2 and set it up on an old domain for testing.

The changes needed to update my 3.1 template were very easy to make. (I’m a newbie)

    an0n’s deep links work fine.

I really like the look of the admin panel and not having to mess about setting the page rank for submitted links is great and time saving.

The password reminder will also be very helpful.

The only problem that I can see at the moment is where the hell am I going to find my articles! Lol

Please note that this was a fresh install I have not tried to update.

You can see the demo site here www.realfreetv.net

Hope this helps anyone that might be considering changing.

    Thanks Brian.

I have loaded in 4 of my dirs and I have one more togo. Nice I like it better than 3.1.

Article mod will only show on a template that works with, there are 3 template I know that will work...Default,Sabians template, and one that was rescently posted on the template section of DP.

The Article Mods is what I wanted, will wait for templates to be made for it.

When viewing Approve Links it still has some tructication(sp) and the only visible buttons are the check mark or approved. This was the part I hated about 3.1

I am in a process of installing 3.2 on a new directory. Just wondering what are the changes in the database in comparison to 3.1

    Here you go:
    Added Articles table
New values for PLD_CONFIG table (done @ step 4 of installer)
New field BAN_WORD in PLD_BANLIST table

Yes, this part with the truncation bothers me too. I will try to investigate this further and see what we can do.

Thanks david for rewriting what i just wrote , but totally forgot about the submit page, thanks for that.

I wonder how come all the sudden after i posted code you were able to cook up something ? had you forgotten about this issue?

Just to add to that , you really do not need the modifications as you mentioned to submit.tpl file , thats not for article mod to work.

I could be wrong here but seems like his modifications were out before lol. Sorry my bad.
    Cheers
