I don't like vB, I'm partial to MyBB really.

I use phpbb3 for a private forum. Works ok. (Y)

I like Vbulletin for public forums 100% better.

Since it's a beta, it could be insecure.

phpBB3 isn't in BETA, its in RC (Release Candidate) --- meaning that once everything seems stable enough, it'll go Gold (it'll be released in other words.)

Even in RC its stable enough to run in a environment as the phpBB team is offering support for it.

^^ Well for some, but for the rest of us who rather keep our startup and overhead capital small, phpBB is our solution.

^^ Not bad, how was it making your design? I heard the new phpBB3 Template Engine is different this time... haven't sat down and taken a solid look at it though.

    I'm really good with phpbb3, I enjoy making custom phpbb3 templates :)

So much better than phpbb 2.

Er, actually, unless I am the one who is wrong, phpBB is in RC4, not 1...
