phpbb3 + wordpress integration - does anything work?

    I'm looking for a way to display phpbb3 forum topics using a widget or some code in the sidebar of a wordpress blog.

    I've tried the recent phpbb topics plugin, but couldn't get it to work.

    Does anyone know any other solutions?
