Once you purchase vBulletin, you will be able to use their ImpEx convertor and convert all your phpBB3 data to vBulletin.

Its a free script that you download, then upload to your server and run. The script converts your database to one that VBulletin can use. There is even a support forum on the vbulletin.com website for help running the script. You should be able to find lots of information in the vbulletin support forums once you buy your license.

Remember that your urls will be different after you convert to v-bulletin.

I did not know this when i decided to make a switch-over.
But since it is barely a month and a half since i started my forum, it has not made a big impact.
