I have just incorperated phpbb3 into Drupal. It was very hard, but I'm close to the end result and I'm ready to worry about the design. My blog page is a simple blue/orange layout: Blog: http://www.computerquestionhelp.com New Forums: http://forums.computerquestionhelp.com What is the best way of editing the current template to match? It doesn't look to hard to do just invert or change the current colors. I also wanted to chop off the entire header that supports the logo. I'm planning on injecting the forum into my blogs i-frame. I wouldn't want all that header space in a i-frame. Anyway, my only concern is how do the pros edit a template? Do I really have to open up 100 tiny little images in Photoshop and get to work? I was thinking there was something I'm not aware of that will let me make a new PSD or something and break it into pieces for the phpbb forum, just like fireworks does for me on photo gallery templates that I designed before. Any information would be helpful! Currently my plan of attack is to open each file which will take me a long time. I'm open to anything.... All I need to do is change the colors to orange/blue to match my blog.. I can figure the rest of the stuff out I'm sure.... +rep to good detailed credible answers..... May consider purchasing assistance, or programs if needed....small budget.
Yes, if you want to be exact you have to open tiny little bit of images and make them the way you like it. I suggest in some cases, leave the default and many small images that people barely pay attention to where they are and just overwrite the really important ones. Main things would be background, headers, sides, tops, bottoms, text and the inside colors. Then check what could be improved or not.
