Hi All, I have just installed phpbb3 for the first time, just to give it a go and see how well it works. I am liking it so far, but having a little trouble with permisions. I am trying to set it up so that Guest's can see the forum index and thread list, but are forced to register to view the thread content. however so far everything i have tried does not work. Mainly what happens if the forums just do not appear. ie as a guest it looks like the site is empty but once logged in all the forums appear. So, I want the guest to see Forum list>Thread List> not thread content. Can someone help. Thanks
That is quite general. I have looked at the group permissions, and I cannot find anything that will restrict reading of threads.
