PHPBB3 disaster recovery

    Hello

    Here is the deal. I have a phpbb3 forum, everything OK, users and posts. Unfortunately, I have erased one important subforum, therefore removing an important number of crucial posts.

    I have a MySQL backup, a couple of days old before the erasure.

    I was wondering where to find info for recovering the missing forum. Can anyone help me doing so, or by just posting a link on where to find the procedure.

    the idea is to use phpmyadmin to import the sql dump u have

    I think restoring only missing posts is very hard and I have never seen any such tool but in case if I get any, I will update you.
