    I'm convinced the "development team" recruits from high schools.

    thats funny. i have never used it on a regular basis, i have, however, converted many to smf. the phpbb support forums are a joke. sometimes i go there and steal away some of the folks who use it.:D

    Od, I've never had a problem with it. It is after all , FREE! Very flexible, easy to customize, and assuming you keep it up to date, I've never had it hacked. I'd go the VB route, but I have about 7 forums currently, and VB is way over priced IMO, though I do like it better than phpBB.

    phpbb is pretty decent accually, very easy to customise and use :)
