PHPbb questions - do you need categories in my forum

    I am building a forum for a client, but most of the forums I see on the internet do not have categories, so do I need then or should I just delete and run without?

    Depends on your criteria.

    Example:
    Category1 (baseball talk)
    Forum (baseball teams)
    (baseball players)

    Category2 (football talk)
    Forum (football teams)
    (football players)
