    I want to put 'AD_NETWORK' => $ad_network, outside the includes/page_tail.php file preferably on my index page only.

    How do I add to index.tpl or index.php as I don't use includes on my PHPBB site.

    Wouldn't work because the ad network would need to be site-wide (so it wouldn't pass validation when it looks for it on the pages).
