    This is for phpbb2

    1. Optimize your page titles Page titles are one of the most important elements when ranking your page.

    2. Sitemap. Everyone needs a sitemap.

    3. Robots.txt. Blocks bots from crawling things like /admin, /includes or certain pages.

    4. Remove session ID's for guest's. Reduces ways to produce duplicate content.

    5. Static page rewrites Page rewrites are a little more complex than the previous 2 but IMO its worth the effort. Server needs mod_rewrite or asapi rewrite capability.

    I'm sure there are more tweaks you can do.

    Personally your better off putting out the funds for vBulletin and vBSEO, its fare more effective as a bulletin system and more secure.... thats just my 2 cents regarding phpBB SEO; get vBulletin and vBSEO ;)
