Try to make a sitemap and submit it to google webmaster tools. And your site is new so you have to be patient, try to get more backlinks for your Forum and you will be listet better. But it takes time.
You have like 69 pages indexed, you should more care about content than SEO. I mean your forum hasnt much to offer, try to work on that. The rest will come automaticly, if you get backlinks constantly.
Well, I think you should get rid of PHPBB I run 3 forums all ranking in top terms! Vbulletin is the only way to go, and dont believe the lie that you need VbSEO to rank well, my forums and Digital Point infact prove that you do not. If you want, I can custom design a Vbulletin site for yours. I am very affordable, but there are tons of free designs out there.
i used to be a big fan of PHPBB and the newest one is very cool, how ever after spending alot of time here on DP , and other sites running vbulletin I now have a favorite BB software.
you must use the normal ways. seo does not depent on the site type. seo is the same for a forum or a directory or a blog. i suggest you to start with focusing on on site seo
Well that was sort of my point, I am not 100% sure about the other BB systems out there, but out of the box Vbulletin is practically a gold mine for SEO ranking.
Sell my stuff? I don't sell VB, what exactly am I selling friend? I am simply trying to help the thread starter make a better decision and I can find many people to back up my claim that Vb is better. Plus Vb already has tons of mods pre installed that PHPBB does not. Vbulletin takes about 15 minutes to install right, phpbb can take hours for a newbie with no Php knowledge.
Why are you making it a discussion about whether vb or phpbb is better? Point is he has phpbb and barely some posts or users that are not spambots. Why should he invest in vb? You are missing the point imo. And you can make the same in SEO with phpbb as in vb if you know how to do it. You're not selling anything huh?
Oh that, well look what I said after that though friend But that aside, I wont post anymore in this topic, your right in that he already has phpbb but I happen to know from expirience that just having a vb will get you more members but thats just me....
