Hi, I am wanting somone to set me a PHPBB forum. I am willing to offer anyone 2 years hosting and some Yahoo vouchers and 12 niche website templates for somone who will set one up along with the database ect

You do realize that if you have cPanel with fantastico, you can do it with the click of a button?

 

and how do I do that as I do have CPannel?

Just need it installed? If so I can do it for ya.. wanna just give me like $6 on paypal instead of the hosting/vouchers/etc? I don't need those.

 

Fantastico is a standard feature in all cPanels so your host is disabling it. I would recommend talking with them. Most likely the chaps will charge you more to use it. If your paying more than $6.95 a month PM me for a hosting plan with fantastico

Fantastico is NOT a standard option. It is not even BY cPanel. Fantastico is made by cPSkins, while cPanel is made by cPanel, Inc.

phpbb (or other better forums) are usually a simple auto-install on most hosts. Just be ready for lots of security issues with phpbb we disabled it because of these reasons.

 

Fantastico has the disadvantage of software thats not updated, so possible security bugs will be there.
Script kiddies paly a lot with people that auto-install software from Fantastico.
Its far better to set it up ur own using the latest version.
