phpBB Forum.. HELP!

    phpBB is completely new to me, and I think I've handled everything pretty well so far. I'm only having two problems..

    A - Everytime I move away from the page, even if I hit the back button to it, it logs me out. It's also doing this to my members, it's like the cookies aren't storing. How can I fix this?

    B - AdSense, will NOT work on my forum for some reason. I've got adsense ads at the bottom, but come to find out that is against TOS, so I'm trying to get them under the first post in each new thread, but I can not do it for the life of me.

    By the way, I'm running phpBB 3.
