Means your host has to have php version 4 or 5 installed (most do) and have curl support complied into php. Many don't so your best bet would be to contact them and specifically ask them that. Be sure to include a link so they can see what you're looking at.

Curl is a program that grabs information from other webpages. It's a bit of a security risk so many hosts remove it.

    Hope this helps,

I've been using it for years and have not had any problems since the latest version is php5 compliant.

Yea, if the host is shady then you probably shouldn't use an application like this. Get a more stable one and start making all the niche money you can.

LOL..HostGator works just fine. as a matter of fact they are the preferred host for these types of tools. I know Wade likes them as well.

Actually they don't. I would give you a link but I for some reason can;t get to their helpsite right now. Typing into google 'hostgator curl' shows many forum topics over there saying you have to request curl support via a support ticket.

Always a plus to ask to make sure.

And you got your you know what banned so I wouldn't worry about it.

The issue isn't the php verison but the curl support. Again, many hosts, including hostgator it appears, do not allow curl. In hostgator's case, you have to request it via a support ticket.

    As mentioned previously.
