    Hi everyone,

    I was wondering about:
1- what is the best php books to learn form?
2- is there any book that have all PHP5's functions?
I looked over internet and found PHP Functions Essential Reference by Torben Wilson, Zak Greant, Graeme Merrall and Brett Michlitsch. but the book is form the year 2002 and it's all about PHP4.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    :)

php.net lists all the functions including examples.

I suggest you to learn by practice, not just theory
I used to try and make a website then searching every function I need for
It will go easier in that way

I agree completely with the previous two posts.

Kaizoku has mentioned php.net - if you want to saerch for how to use a particular function what I do is go to my Google toolbar and type in something like php <function>. If I want to read up on arrays I type php arrays and look for the first that points to php.net

Any function you loo up will have the version number of PHP it came out with.

Practice is the best way - you might need to install something like WAMP (Google it) to install a server environment on your machine or you can get some web space which has PHP enabled. IIf looking for web space - make sure it's got "GD" enabled.
