PHP vs .NET for new Community Website?

    Hello,

    I want to open a Poker Community website (similar to facebook)

    And I wanted to ask you guys which framework is recommended to develop this site, PHP or Microsoft .NET ...

    Ask Zynga... hehehe just kidding.
    Both PHP or .NET were good, depends on which one you like the best.
    For me i prefer .NET because it easier and faster in development,
    but it will cost more since it will use Windows Server Hosting/VPS.

    I think you can try .net. Because it is more easier to develop and deploy.
