    Hi
With the huge caveat that I am a non-tecchie may I ask a question of you?

I have been reading about hosting companies changing over to phpsuexec.
I have also read that this can cause problems.
I have also read that it's not necessary if all files and folders have the correct chmod access levels set.

My question is in two parts
    1. What are your views on the pros and cons of using php v phpsuexec

    2. How can I secure sites that contain files or folders that need to be left at 777 access levels according to the instructions I have received (and am not technical enough to query!)

Thank you for your patience and for sharing your views.

    Dee
