php tutorials or codings

I would like to make two very simple HomePage and AboutUs pages with menu items ( 2columns style) in php, where to find tutorials and get these php codings as a starter? Any useful tutorials? (http://www.php.net/ did'nt have much to offer)

 

Do a search for "php tutorials" on this? Or look at this post here in this forum from 2 days ago perhaps?
