    Here are some sites I used while learning. You can also search youtube for "php tutorials". Good videos are available.
    Also for OOP style programming, i recommend starting with:
    KillerPhp
    keep in mind OOP is a bit advanced and you should learn the following tutorials first:

    w3schools
    Tizag
    goodphptutorials

    thanks sandstorm140 !! oyeah OOP concepts i already learned C++, JAVA :) i learned JSP too.. but i wish to learn php also coz of its widely usage :D

    You can go to mininova.org and search for PHP ebooks there.

    Apart from the many illegal downloads there, there are LOADS of completely legal ebooks there which often get overlooked.

    There are also plenty of websites that give very good tutorials like w3schools.com just use Google to search for "php tutorial" and you'll get thousands of hits.

    Just google it the first few results are great.

    the best is php.net, I also like php.about.com for newbies. w3schools.com is also a good one.

    Search for warez/torrent with PHP too.

    EDIT: you can also try my friends blog http://coding.born2hack.biz he just started it.

    Go to the php.net website. download the documentation for you. start learning. Its best I thing?
    Otherwise, try to buy SAMS Teach yourself PHP in 24hrs if you want to learn quickly.
    I prefer to the first one because its just like a Complete Reference manual.
