    Hi,

ive installed Diesel job site, and had to manually install all the database tables, which im quite sure are correct.

however, most of the site is not working, The homepage, contact us, t&c's and the success stories (located on the footer) these all work.

But everything else does not, ie, register, search etc.

Can anyone see whats wrong ?

    view here www.lightingresourceforum.com/job_board

    thanks

    Kez

It doesn't look good, check the chmod permissions for the mentioned folder...

Ok, because the error is "Directory "/***/public_html/job_board/employers" is writeable by others", which implies that chmod is higher than 755...

I suppose it should be 755, but i don't know that script, it's not freeware, so there is no way for me to test it...

Right, Ive mailed diesel scripts They said to have register_globals on, which now it is.

And STILL its not working, The pages load, but i still cant login to admin, nor can anyone register and the contact us page does not send me a mail.

someone must know how to fix this, I am willing to pay for a trustworthy person to fix it.

    PM me

You know a lot of these older scripts have problems with the newer languages. For about $9 you should be able to get one from Prozilla.com that will work. All you do is sign up for one month and you can get all of their scripts for that price.

Having register_globals on is a security risk anyway. You could ask them if there new stuff supports having it off.
