PHP script to save xml to mysql database

    Im looking for a script that will connect to an rss/xml feed and save its contents to a mysql database. This is the feed i will be pulling the data from:

    http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=UBmLVXFb3RG_iYPsouNLYQ&_render=rss

    Every time I run the script it will check the XML document for new data and add it to the database. Each item will have a unique link attribute so that could be used to filter out posts that have already been added.

    The script should only add the data within the following tags to the database:

    title
    link
    pubDate
    description
    author – where available
