PHP script to look up google PR

    Any body have a fast and reliable way to look up the PR of a page using PHP?

    Do a google search and I'm sure you can find quite a few PHP scripts that can look up pagerank.

    Amusingly, no. I have looked on several occasions, and its only the phpclasses one that actually returns a PHP script to look up PR. The rest are web-checkers!

    Okay, maybe I was over-exaggerating, but its not as widespread as you think it might be. The majority of listings, are not relevant; they do not provide you with PR checker code.

    Actually I didn't find that to be true at all. The bigger problem was the misconfigured servers, expired domains and 404 pages I got on the first page. That accounted for most of the ones that didn't help. I didn't see any that were just site checkers.

    Well, I do. I get an actual script at #4, then the rest are either checkers, or threads from forums, regarding PageRank.

    Yeah, but you'd think there would be a lot more competition in that area, seeing how popular PR and Google is nowadays...
