Hello, I'd like a script that will take as input a text list of domain names, and put out a sublist of those domains that have .edu backlinks and show page rank for those domains. For example, input could be abc.com qrc.net 123.org and output could be 123.org is PR5 and has 3 .edu backlinks: school1.edu, univ2.edu and college13.edu. Please PM with your bids and let me know if you have questions. Check my iTrader to confirm that I pay immediately. Thanks! Bill
I started working on a script like this recently and was curious where would you like it to pull the backlinks from google?. If you have yet to find someone to do this please let me know. thanks, Brett Quast
Brett, This is still open. I'm not sure it matters where the backlinks are pulled from, as long as they're found. That is, a given website either will have .edu backlinks or it won't. Google seems notoriously bad at reporting backlinks, but I think that's irrelevant (correct me if I'm wrng). The best tool I've found so far for showing backlinks is at domain-pop.com. If you put in cugc.org (for example), it will come back and show you several dozen backlinks, with 6 or so .edu backlinks among them. I'm looking for a script that will show only the .edu links, show page rank, and do it for bulk lists (hundreds of domain names at a time). domain-pop is kinda slow. Does this help? Bill Farrell
