PHP rename an image

Hi guys,

Is there a way I can dynamically rename an image?

I am using a script to display a random image (one per page), but I want to rename the image on the page to a different name, like "world.jpg"

How can I do this?

I am using Galley2 External Image Block to display a daily image.

I was Googling how I can use the php rename function and I saw that someone has copied and pasted my EXACT post, word for word... Weird...
