Php problem

Sir, i am new in this forum and i am new with this Php, MySQL and Apache. I am very interested to learn Php. I am a free lance programmer and using VB, VFP, C++. I want to explore more in programming and that is the reason why i would like to learn Php and other stuff in open source. I just want to ask help from you on where i can download the Php, MySQL and Apache for windows xp pro OS. i have already visited site and download some php but i can not use it. can you provide me some ebooks like having samples on it so that i can read and study on it.

 

You don't have download PHP, Apache etc separately. Download WampSever. It will install everything for you.

Once you set up Wamp you can start learning Php. The following links will help you learn Php:

You can try XAMPP too. It's a pack of php mysql and apache.

Another vote for WAMP server - it is very easy to set up and use.

 

I also prefer XAMPP but remember to have some firewall ON and configured cause some nasty things can happen
