php previous_posts_link not working with wp_query

    page_id=8: slug of this page is: "test-page". You either use "page-test-page.php" or "page-8.php". it is internal function of wordpress. It uses pageslug or page id to show custom type pages, like the one I have provided to you. If you want to edit that page, you need to edit page-test-page.php

    Understood. Thanks! Definitely getting a lot closer to what I need now. On the original page i was working with, the posts are now showing and so is the pagination.

    But how do I get the posting date to appear right below the post title?
