PHP or Java?

In which sector you are using this? ?

 

Java one of the best programming language.

 

In which section you are working? ? means how you are preferring the java? for web apps development..

 

Java has a powerful API, maybe the most powerful one. And also good database integration.

 

You should use the JavaScript. It's far more robust and a subset of Java.

 

I have now started working with java... lets see what happens.. i hope that this will not ruin my mind

 

According to me java is the best one because it is easy to learn and their are lot of importance to use it

go with JAVA! Once you get it you will be able to make desktop apps and web pages/apps easy since the code is the same in all the cases!
PHP is generating script,but you will have to know CSS,HTML nad other things.Just start learning JAVA!It have a great support/community and you will always find what are you looking for!
+ JAVA is improving all the time and the last benchmarks I saw just amazed me!

Right now, PHP is more in use but I Prefer java because It depends on cocept of oops and provide more functionality then the other.

PHP and Java are completely different languages. PHP is only web based, while Java is mainly client based..
