    I have a Cristian videos site and I want to make a php site like nuke or wiki for christian news,but I need to know if PHP NUKE is good software.

    I wouldn't bother it's long considered to have gone off the boil

    You best looking at Joomla, Drupal or Dragonfly CMS

    I would suggest you decide which features are most important to you. If you program in php, you will most likely want CMS software, that is written in that programming language. If you want CMS software that comes standard with all the bells and whistles bundled into the basic package choose one like that, If you want a very streamlined CMS that you would have to add modules or extension to, but would be easy to troubleshoot because it is not bloated choose one like that. If you are selling items you want an application with built-in or plug-ins that allow e-commerce. If you want to see through Google, could an app that has a google plugin.

    I find people tend to evangelize about the CMS software that they have chosen, even if that software is the only one in that genre of application that they have tested. There is a website Opensourcecms that allows you to test every CMS, folks here will tell you about.

    My experience with PHP NUKE and it spawns, are favorable. You build on the basic package like most CMS packages to tailor it to your requirements. You have to remember that all CMS have templates and thems. Templates for the most part allow you to control the basic placement of items on pages and themes basically all you to control the color palette of the website.

    You can add templates and themes to PHP NUKE to make it look much different that the basic theme you will see at Opensourcecms test app for PHP NUKE.

    CMS popularity can be measured in many different ways.
    1. - Total downloads of the current version
    2. - Total downloads of new versions
    3. - Website popularity of the applications portal
    4. - Application popularity at this moment
    5. - Forums about the CMS
    6. - Portal forum activity
    and many more ways too.

    This is more information than you ask for, but I did answer your basic question before I went off trail.
