    php.net is great.. if you have an idea of how to use the language..

    I'd goto devshed.com or freewebmasterhelp.com and do his tutorials. Lots of stuff on both of those sites. The webmaster help one is geared to VERY green guys and will get you started.

    ooter is right, Devshed is where i started, its a great resource

    Set yourself a goal, try to create simple scripts, find tutorials on them, etc
