PHP/MySQL Programmer - Immediately Available

I'm available to take PHP Programming Projects.

I know many have been burned here by programmers so I offer the following:

    1. My reputation here is solid, I have NEVER accepted a dime for a programming project from a DP member that I have not completed as agreed. If you want to see a prior thread where members commented on my services, goto: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=122789

    2. I am US based (Louisiana). I just formed a brand new business: Sans Pareil Interactive, Inc. The business can be verified on the Louisiana Secretary of State website: http://www.sos.louisiana.gov/cgibin?rqstyp=crpdtlC&rqsdta=36307045D (this lists my home address as my office is in my home). The articles are also recorded in the St. Landry Parish Clerk of Court as required by my state. I have an occupational license with the Town of Krotz Springs, LA (#2557). Call the town and verify my license if you wish: (337) 566-2322.

    3. I have years of professional experience programming. Unforunately, much of it was under non-disclosure agreement so I can't show you my most prized projects, but needless to say this wasn't a hobby, I worked on some major sites doing some cutting edge stuff. I've attended O'Reilly's university of Perl and attended seminars hosted by Damian Cronway (Perl guru's refer to him as the father of OOP Perl Programming) and other perl and internet programming greats.

    4. I am officially self-employed (a fancy way of saying unemployed) and so I have all day and all night to devote to your project (and needless to say I'm highly motivated to do well because if I don't, I don't know how I pay the bills tomorrow).

    5. I am currently charging $25/hr for custom programming services. I don't claim to be the cheapest, but if you go for cheap, you're likely to get what you paid for (or nothing at all judging from some of the threads here). I accept PayPal. If you have funds in another money transfer service, PM me and I'll consider accepting payment via that method (my rate may vary for services that have considerable fees for receiving and/or withdrawing funds).

    6. To eliminate risks and concerns (particularly since so many DP members have been ripped off in the past), I do not require full payment until the project is complete. In order to minimize my own risk, I do require prepayment for 1 hour ($25). This is the MOST you will ever risk with me. The process goes like this:

    A. We discuss your project.
    B. I give you an estimate and deadline.
    C. You advance pay 1 hour ($25).
    D. I do the work on my server and provide you a demo.
    E. When you are satisfied, you pay the remainder and I send you the script (or install it on your server for you if desired).
Note: Larger projects may be divided into functional sections where partial payment is made at various stages of completion, this will be discussed in advance.

Why do I require at least 1 hour prepayment? I've been ripped off before to. I have to know that you are serious about hiring me and going to pay when the work is done. I've never been stiffed by someone who paid something up front. We're both taking a risk. You are trusting your $25 to my reputation. I'm trusting 5 - 10 hours of programming time on a single hour of pay.

Finally, I'm available on MSN Messenger to anyone wanting to discuss projects and once we've agreed on a project and you've prepaid the 1st hour, I'll send you my cell phone number as well.

I have tried my best to be completely transparent. Again, you can probably find someone willing to do programming for less, but ask yourself how transparant they are, will they deliver and what quality will the work be once completed?

If you have questions, feel free to post them here OR PM me for additional information.

    Thanks!

Just wanted to drop a quick note that Anthony did some work for me yesterday and actually finished about an hour under his original quote, saving me some cash in the process. His work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend him!

I am online early today and available for projects as needed. I'll be spending the next hour finishing up quotes to several people I talked with yesterday.

Check out my iTrader feedback, another positive from a happy customer yesterday.

I'm immediately available meaning that if you have a project you need done, I can complete it today (small projects, larger ones will take longer).

I have to give kudos to Anthony again. I had 2 minor things I needed to be changed on the script because I ran into something I needed it to do that I did not anticipate beforehand, but he made the changes right away (under 5 minutes) at no extra cost. Granted, I would have paid him for the alterations regardless. Thanks again!

FYI, I'm on and working today after a family emergency forced me to relocate suddenly and I had to setup a temp office where I am at now.

I have a lot of PMs and am working on responding to them and quoting them for everyone. It may take me a good bit of today to get through them all. The PM system here doesn't thread things and so its nerve wracking trying to go through an entire conversation that was going on last week :(.

I'm available for work and taking work at $20/hr through tomorrow evening. It just may take me a while to respond to everyone. Anything booked will be at that rate even if I have to go into the weekend to complete it.

Not at current. The problem I've found in the past with freelancing is the projects most often go to the lowest bidder and there are always people willing to do it for less.

Of couse I've also bought things on freelancing sites when they were outside of my expertise and I have yet to be satisfied with a single project fulfilled via that manner even when I didn't select the lowest cost provider.

I have a real good employment history and can return to my former employer for about $25/hr tomorrow if I wanted to and so I see no reason to undersell myself. I'm just wanting to do some of my own things and programming independently let me do that. If I go back to work in corporate america, I don't have as much time freedom so I'm trying to avoid that route.

But I've got people asking me to work for $5 and $10/hr because someone else quoted at that level. I'm not interested. Its not to be mean. My time and experience are worth more than that.

I have something I need done. Can you PM me a #, so I can call you? I'm also PM'ing you my #.

I'm on the east coast. I've kinda been left hanging by another programmer and am in a bind. I'm willing to pay $25/hour if you can help me out quickly.

All PM's are initially responded to. I'm working to finish up a couple of projects I have and then will be responding more detail to the remaining. Given the load of quotes I have to put out, I don't estimate I'll have any time for additional work today beyond the people that I'm already working with and/or talking to. You are still welcome to contact me for work, but it may into the weekend or early next week before I can respond.
