PHP MySql Problem !!!

    I am a newbie in php and I am on the way through the study of database.So I use easyphp to run my php files in my system.

    I am getting problem while doing scripts for database (mysql).What is the default

    user
    password

    of the mqsql ???

    And can anyone plz help me with a simple code to check my db ?

    If you are on shared hosting, I really hope your host did better than that. They should be able to give you the default.
