PHP/MySQL Lead Developer

    Experienced MySQL and PHP Developer

    We "The Property Hut", are looking to employ an experienced professional for the field of PHP/MySQL website development. The candidate must show a strong willingness to be part of a great company and also have the drive and enthusiasm as if the company was their own. This job will most likely lead onto a permanent role within the company if it is done superbly. As well as the allocated budget to the project we will be offering any new employees stock options to become a real part of the company. The person/company we chose for this project will be heavily featured by the media due to the innovative nature of the project, and so you should be a good speaker for interviews etc.

    Skills/Experience Required:

    * 3+ years experience developing web sites and/or applications.
    * 3+ years HTML, XHTML, CSS
    * 2+ years experience coding PHP/MySQL web applications
    * 2+ years experience developing ecommerce applications (Paypal/2CO)

    Valued Skills/Experience (not required although a plus):

    * Caching experience a plus
    * AJAX experience a plus
    * Zend Certified a plus
    * Knowledge of current web trends such as "Web 2.0"
    * Maintaining and administering a Windows Server
    * Knowledge of the smarty templating system (used by phpBB etc)

    Personal Qualities:

    * You must be detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.
    * You must be able to work independently, while keeping in constant contact with me.
    * You must be available for online chat or telephone meetings.
    * You must be speak fluent English. (Unfortunately, I am not multi-lingual.)
    * You must have excellent communication skills and you must use them to keep me apprised of projects' status.
    * Must live in USA, Europe, Australia or other well developed country.
