I just downloaded PHP maker and tried to connect to 000webhost (my free host) and its not working
Should I spend time figuring out how to make it work, or is it just a waste of time?

I tried it, absolute garbage. If you wanna be lazy, go ahead and waste time trying to figure it out, but the time you spend with it won't be the lazy way of doing things.

well, php is the thing which should be created by oneself to enjoy its real worth. I use dreamweaver for creating php scripts etc.. it doesn't guide for php code but it colors the php code so we can understand the code easily.

Dont use a maker to write php scripts.
For sure it is limited & will not be as smart as human.
You can hire a coder to write scripts for you.

I've been hiring coders for a while now. Just wanted to see if there was a way to do it myself without actually learning it.
I'm sure that I can find some spare time in the summer to pick up a few things.

Programming is an art. Take any language, concept is same. Develop the flow of the problem and code it.

Coding is never the issue, it is how we convert flow into code. :)

That is the part that distinguishes one coder from another.
