hi there i am trying to find a free mail list script so users of my website can join a list and i can email them with updates ect. it would be good if i could set categorys as well. and email people in that category. at this time it would be good if i had something that was free but i would be happy to buy samthing as a low price but i dont want to pay a moutly fee at this time. i have tried phplist but had now luck in getting this to work what other software is good i could use thank you for your help guys
There are a lot of PHP mailing list apps out there, the problem is that you have to find a host that doesn't throttle your outgoing mails. PHPList is probably the most powerful free version and I use. You just need to tweak it to throttle your send queue.
