Well done to the LBS crew;)

They are actually improving the script and meeting deadlines, fixing bugs and actually not charging for all of it:)

Is there any way to migrate from PHPLB to LBS?

no neo, there isnt. You could just install LBS and manually add sites yourself.

Just to make it clear LinkBidScript is NOT phpLB...

It's a completely different product from another developer and at the moment it's FREE.

I will check phpLB structure and let you know if migration is possible.

Got the script, the new version, loaded up and ready to roll on my new directory: GPT Directory

Had the older version up first, but found out to get the new version, one has to do a CLEAN INSTALL!
So as it stands right now, if you have the older version you can not upgrade to the new version unless you do a complete wipeout of the old and then upload the new script.
How it affects the database is a question I have yet to see answered.
But it appears to me that you will lose it in upgrading.
Best thing is to wait and see if the script owner fixes it so that you can upgrade easily.

Myself, I like this script just in playing with it to see how it functions.

Now to do some promotion and get some business!

LBS is pretty nice looking software, code isn't as easy to modify as PHPLB, but very nice for the price.

I set up a new bidding directory as well with the new version of LBS software.
http://www.biddingforposition.com with 5 deeplinks for as little as $2. Deeplinks not only on the details page, but with the main listing as well to give them more exposure.
