I just created a directory using phpld 3.3 and my host is hostgator, I test the site myself and I cannot receive any link pending email but I can receive reject emails. It is weird, and I tried both php mail function and sendmail command, it still won't work. Anyone encountered this problem and know how to fix it?? Thanks!
what is the reason for the rejected emails ? are you using SMTP and sending raw headers ? if so make sure they conform to RFC 2/821 else theymay be rejected. alot of people get trouble with end-of-line charactors (<CRLF> = \r\n) and lack of use of chevrons encapsulating RCPT as well (RCPT TO:<forward-path>\r\n), which the server may reject if not correct format. additionally, make sure the end of message (terminate) format is correct (\r\n.\r\n) maybe if you post your code we can troubleshoot. also, if your script is logging server responses post them too. also make sure your site or server ip isnt blacklisted.
