    I trying to install phplinkdirectory and it is not going as I planned.

    Here is what I have done so far.

    set up mysql database
    unzipped the script
    ftp to folder at hosting co(godaddy)
    renamed include/config.php.net to include/config.php
    changed permission to read and write for temp/adudb, cache,templates


    when i went to go to sitename.com/install

    i get an ftp error message...

    can somebody tell where i went wrong...

    Try the proper support forums for it - http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/, you can get support there as long as it isn't a cracked copy, and if it is then that's probably what's causing the problem and we want nothing to do with you (if it is legal, no offense intended).
