    Do you have hosting? Effectively, there are no requirements.

    Most shared hosting have php pre-installed. Only VPS and Dedicated must install it.

    if you need php for a local server for testing purposes

    Just install Xampp

    For hosting purposes download it from php.net and install it in the folder where you like and also you should edit you config file in apache.
