php.ini problem -- timeout

    Hi
I've got a large real estate site and run a script which produces an xml output from data stores in the MYSQL. After 120 seconds it crashes (probably times out). I'm hosted on Linux shared medium package with Godaddy, and there is a php.ini file in the root folder.
What would I have to add to this file in order to lengthen the timeout?
    Any help gratefully appreciated.

Thanks a million, your trick worked 4 me. I was able to resolve php script timeout error on Godaddy Linux hosting.
