PHP IDEs

    I'm getting aquainted with PHP but do find debugging a bit of an ordeal, I'm used to breakpoints and watches that you get in other language IDEs. Can anybody recommend a debugger for PHP, the only one I've found so far is Zend Studio has anybody had any experience with this (or others).

    I'm running on Zend but never used any debugger (debug live).

    Yuo might also want to check out Maguma Studio (Open Source version is free, other version is 100 euro's or something). I have a thread about it here on DP. Also has a debugger.

    I've been looking for a good IDE and those two ended up on my shortlist. (Trust me, tried loads!) Decided on Zend for the direct MySQL connection.

    If you are running on Windows give PHP Designer 2005 (http://www.mpsoftware.dk/phpdesigner.php) a try. I used to use it before we moved over to Linux.
