I need help with my website I currently have an HTML website that I don't want and need converted to PHP. I just got my SSL Certificate and need even the homepage to be completely covered with the SSL. Amongst that PHP might doi this by default but I want all the tabs on site About , Contact etc. to when clicked on to just show my-website.com instead of my-website.com/index. I have done this before so I know it can be done. Okay sorry for all that but we all need to elaborate as much as possible to prevent misunderstanding. Anyone who can help me with this I will give Unlimited Web Hosting free for LIFE! cPanel everything is included. I just need urgent help and would like to express my gratitude with what I have to offer.
You can do this with .htaccess. Why you want to do it, however, is beyond me. If you cloak the url, people won't be able to bookmark any subpages on your site - this might not be a big issue, but it's a significantly bad choice from a UI-perspective.
It needs some work on it I can fix it if you want But if you're gonna do this , first add ssl to your host then rewrite the htaccess and program the index.php in order to declare the URL and include the correct page.
